Summer camps at His Thousand Hills provide numerous activities such as swimming, archery, high and low ropes, hiking, roller skating, basketball, volleyball and so much more! They provide an opportunity for your child to try new and challenging activities! Summer camps allow your child to get out and meet new people in a safe and caring environment. Often times, summer camps, like ours, will provide events during the school year such as Fun Days when school is not in session, weekend retreats, youth conventions or evening of organized sports activities like basketball, dodgeball and volleyball. Summer Camps are not just for kids either! We have numerous counselors and staff that tell us the highlight of their summer is summer camp at His Thousand Hills. Some of our dedicated staff schedule the only week of vacation off from work to be here to serve you the Lord and your child at His Thousand Hills! They love pouring out of themselves into the lives of others during the summer camp season!
Send your child to His Thousand Hills Summer Camp…
it is where your child will want to be every summer!
A week of summer camp is not just all about the fun and games. Our main objective is to share the gospel with all who come to camp. We desire for them to encounter Christ in a real and sometimes new way that is personal and life changing for them.
During a week of summer camp, we have seen camper’s hearts be healed from the pain of divorce, rejection, verbal and physical abuse. We have seen campers arrive scared, alone and fearful, leave a changed, secure and confident child of their Creator! This is what sets our summer camps apart from others! Lives are being touched and changed, for eternity!
There is real fruit for the kingdom being produced in this ministry.
Prayerfully considering a camp theme for our summer camps each summer is one of our favorite things to do! We seek the Lord and ask Him for direction as we move forward in selecting a theme that will reach the needs and hearts of our campers at summer camp. As a camp leader, it is just an awesome privilege to have parents place their most prized possessions into the hands of our staff and counselors and staff for the week. This is a job none of us take lightly and we look forward to it every summer!
Lives are change at SUMMER CAMP and we love being a part of it!
Please be assured that your child will be in very good hands during his or her week at camp. Your child’s safety and well being is very important to us.
